DON'T BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER PETS DIE

Shelter animals face so many uncertainties as more and more Organisations throughout the world struggle to survive. One way
to start reducing the horrific numbers looking to be re-homed is for people to have their pets spayed or neutered so that unnecessary
and unwanted pregnancies are avoided. Another way, if people aren’t prepared to take this responsible decision, is to think twice
before breeding and, please, let’s get out of this mindset that it is “good for the bitch,” because that just isn’t true. But the
biggest way of helping is to visit your local Shelter and give a home to one of those just begging to be taken and loved. If you’re
looking for a particular Breed and the Shelter doesn’t have one then look for a Breed Specific Rescue Organisation. There is nothing
more rewarding than giving a home to an animal that has ended up in a shelter through no fault of its’ own and has probably become
frightened and confused. Many have been ill treated and all they want is to feel the love and security of a new owner who is going
to change their life forever.
Saving ONE animal won't change the world...
... but it will change the world for that ONE animal.
